Artist Nicolas V. Sanchez fills his sketchbook with very precise illustrations made with a ballpoint pen. These drawings represent little rural scenes, in farms, or portraits of his family and friends. As a painter, his sketches allow him to know if an illustration deserves to be on a canvas and in a painted version or if it should simply continue to live in his sketchbook.
