Danish artist Steffen Dam has been working with glass and scientific books during his career. This fascination led him to his project Cabinets of Curiosities : glass jars that mimics the conservations of various aquatic species. These drawings are made in light boxes to light up more the details of each creatures : from the jellyfish’s tentacles to the paw of a micro-organism. At the crossroads between art and science, Steffen invites us to admirer the beauty of his specimens.
