Spanish studio Mayice (composed of Marta Alonso Yebra and d’Imanol Calderón Elósegui, whose we already have talked for their collection Zoo) is back with a new suspended installation called Sea Drops. Made for the Food Immersion of Expo Milano 2015 at the Villa Necchi Campiglio, this sensorial experience happens in the air, through Sea Drops in glass that let a blue reflection pass on the ceiling. These pieces in glass were designed from pigments of s syrup called Lycatin by Real Fábrica de Cristales de La Granja de San Ildefonso.

On the wooden table RAY, we can find, during the event, a box filled by caramels, Caramel Drops, cooked by Horno de San Onofre, in a space with diverse culinary smells and drowned into the sounds of crashing waves.

Curated by Francesca Formenti and organized by FAI, Italian Environment Fund.
