A new museum, dedicated to folkloric arts, has recently opened in the Chinese city of Hangzhou. Imagined by Japanese architects of Kengo Kuma, this structure was built for China’s Academy of Art, in order to bring a wind of new in the city and re-dynamize the cultural life. The building emerges from the landscape, by presenting a roof with deconstructed tiles like ancient traditional Chinese villages.
