Blood Generation is a project born of the collaboration between Australian photographer Stuart Miller and artist Taloi Havini. Taloi invited Stuart in Bougainville to take pictures of a portraits series dedicated to a young people’s tribe that we call the “Blood Generation”. That’s the name we use to define all these children born in the middle of war and that have been persecuted by the mining’s external interests. Twenty thousands of young people are dead because of these political and military issues.
