Artist Michael Anthony Simon creates sculptures of colorful spiderwebs made from real spiders he gets outside and brings into his studio. He lets the spiders do their job and sprays their webs with a protective coat that solidifies their strings and paints them in vivid colors afterwards. He lets the spiders go after their efforts and doesn’t keep them more than 24 hours.
