Peter Essick is an American photographer who worked for the National Geographic for 25 years. In a picture series named “Ansel Adams Wilderness” he wished to play tribute to the American photographer Ansel Adams, famous for his black and white pictures, using strong contrast. Peter Essick created a collection by being inspired of the Adams’ technique with very pronounced contrasts.
