Jacob T. Swinney comes back with a very beautiful video supercut called “Spike Jonze: The Aesthetics of Whimsy”. He focuses this time on the wandering camera, solar halos, the darkness’ aesthetic and the amount of imagination that we can find in director Spike Jonze’s movies. From “Being John Malkovich” (1999) to “Her” (2013) through “Adaptation” (2002) and above all “Where the Wild Things Are” (2009).

MUSIC: “Igloo” and “The Moon Song” by Karen O.
