Perched on a rock face in the stunning San Juan Islands in the US, this project by Tom Kundig of Olson Kundig Architectes is as mesmerising as its surrounding landscape. Entitled “The Pierre” in reference to the French word, the building is mostly made of steel, smooth concrete and drywall.
