New Moon is the fourth luminous sculpture designed by artists Caitlind R.C. Brown and Wayne Garrett, after their projects Solar Flare and Cloud. This interactive artwork was installed twice in Lexington (Kentucky). It’s made of 5500 burned out bulbs given by the community and it imitates the different cycles of the Moon thanks to a turnstile that viewers can turn.
