PROCESS_N9An abstract study of the creative process - dot -> line -> plane -> volume
PROCESS_N9 is a set of illustrations derived from the design of the N9 device. Based on these images an animated story is created - an abstract study of the creative process.A visualization how the process itself creates a flow which guides the design and how the designer guides the flow. A story which moves from the initial first dot drawn on paper to the final volume e.g. product. This story consists of a consistent flow of visualizations which are interrupted by distractions commonly present in the creative process.
PROCESS_N9 moves in a universe where it is hard to tell if it is 2D or 3D -> moire patterns and playful transitions from one form to another constantly break the conception of a plain 2 dimensional imagery yet there is no 3rd dimension in the piece. This play with the 3rd dimension symbolizes the designer who is present in the process and final product- yet not seen by the user influenced by the design.The soundscape of the piece is playful, with interruptions and sudden jumps - creating contrast for the technical nature of the visuals. After all, without play the creative process is left dead before it has even begun.

Fubar ” One War to End All Wars”
Fubar is an epic story of an on-going political war told in an alternate reality with cats and dogs. Two factions who have been at war with each other for centuries finally come to an agreement for a form of peace, but there are certain higher political powers which would do anything to prevent this historic event from happening. Using Visual Effects and Animation to push the Motion Comics cinema genre to the next level. The Film uses digital photography shot over several months which are then projected onto geometry and other projection and depth techniques powered inside The Foundry’s Nuke X Compositing tool. Every single shot was created inside nukes 3D compositing environment as a sandbox environment.

Vous souhaitez écrire le sujet d’un court‐métrage d’animation et participer à sa production ?
Du 20 octobre 2011 au 28 février 2012 Lavazza organise une initiative dédiée aux écrivains amateurs pour découvrir de nouveaux talents littéraires et créatifs.
Depuis des années, Lavazza est à la recherche de nouveaux talents dans différents domaines artistiques. Tout récemment, l’initiative de photoscouting 20Calendars réalisée par Lavazza pour célébrer le vingtième anniversaire de son calendrier, a permis à trois talents découverts sur la toile d’exposer leurs clichés aux côtés des grands noms de la photographie internationale dans le cadre de l’exposition « Con te partirò » à la Triennale de Milan.
Maintenant c’est au tour des écrivains amateurs : les passionnés de cinéma et d’écriture pourront envoyer leur sujet (150 mots maximum). Il s’agit de raconter une histoire inspirée du monde de Favola*, la nouvelle machine espresso à capsules Lavazza A MODO MIO.
L’auteur de l’histoire sélectionnée par le jury Lavazza sera invité à participer à sa réalisation, en collaboration avec le studio Maga Animation à Monza (Italie). Il recevra également en cadeau une machine Favola*.

Verstaubt is a short movie about a clumsy vacuum cleaner. At his daily work it happens an unforeseeable disaster… This computer generated movie was made at the Stuttgart Media University in Germany. It was a semester project and was created within 4 months (2010/2011).

313RGB Kinetic Poetry
Kinetic Poetry is digital wordplay. 313RGB invite the audience to shift meaning and narrative through a gesture reactive installation. A series of random yet associated words float projected upon screen waiting for an audience to form meaning, by the arrangement of words into phrases. Like Chinese whispers phrases shift meaning and context with each gesture. A database of nouns, verbs and adjuncts are selected to invoke playfulness and mirth.
Air becomes a musical palette for the user to manipulate with their body, tracking and mapping gestures which in-turn treats the projection screen as a huge touch based surface.

EAT MY DEAR is an Austrian multidisciplinary design studio based in Vienna.
Founded in 2005, Eat My Dear have made a name for themselves internationally within the field of motion design working for big brands such as Audi, MTV, Swarovski and Red Bull.
Part of the PostPanic directors roster since 2007, Eat My Dear reflects the same creative attitude as the Amsterdam production company, taking on projects for their creative potential and seamlessly mixing techniques such as film, graphics, 2d/3d animation and visual effects.

Voici Little Tombstone, un des films de la première promo de l’antenne toulousaine de l’ESMA. Ce western réalisé par Adrien Quillet, Benjamin Leymonerie, Frédéric Azaïs et Théo Di Malta nous transpose au coeur d’un duel entre deux cowboys. Le croque-mort va suivre la scène avec intérêt.
