Le cabinet d’architecture Snøhetta est le gagnant d’un concours pour la conception de la bibliothèque présidentielle de Theodore Roosevelt à Medora, dans le Dakota du Nord.
Le cabinet basé à New York et Oslo a été choisi parmi une liste restreinte comprenant le cabinet américain Studio Gang et le studio danois Henning Larsen pour concevoir la bibliothèque.
Le projet de Snøhetta est surmonté d’un énorme toit incurvé conçu pour servir d’extension au site de Medora, ville du Dakota du Nord, qui est entourée des Badlands, jouxte le parc national Theodore Roosevelt et offre une vue sur le ranch Elkhorn.

The architectural firm Snøhetta is the winner of a design competition for Theodore Roosevelt’s Presidential Library in Medora, North Dakota.
The firm based in New York and Oslo was chosen from a short list including the American firm Studio Gang and the Danish studio Henning Larsen to design the library.
Snøhetta’s project is topped by a huge curved roof designed to serve as an extension to the site in Medora, North Dakota, which is surrounded by the Badlands, adjoins Theodore Roosevelt National Park and offers a view of the Elkhorn Ranch.
