Quatre photographes ont été shortlistés pour le célèbre prix Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize 2018. Parmi ces photographies, des clichés saisissants mettant en exergues des différentes manières de se confronter aux enjeux du monde contemporain.

D’une mère serrant son enfant dan les rues de Londres à un gamin rêveur du Sierra Léon, en passant par une équipe de majorettes de la province occidentale de l’Afrique du Sud, la sélection est un portrait global de populations, de manières de vivre, d’ambiances à travers le monde. Le prix est l’un des plus réputés au monde pour les portraitistes.

Les récompenses pour le prix Taylor Wessig Photographic Portrait Prize 2018 seront annoncée le mardi 16 octobre à 19h.

Four photographers have been shortlisted for the Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize 2018. Among them, some incredible shots highlight different ways of facing contemporary world issues. A London mother holding her baby; a child from a remote village in the jungle of Sierra Leone’s Eastern Province; a series on the all-female teams of drum majorettes in South Africa’s Western Province; and a double portrait of a pair of shoppers taken in England’s capital : the selection is a global portrait of different ways of being and living in the contemporay world.

The awards of these incredibly famous and important prize will be announced on Tuesday 16 October 2018 at 19.00.
